FEES FOR CLASSES
CITY CLASSES taught by us:
You enroll directly with the City of Calabasas Recreation brochure online, or in-person at the beautiful Calabasas Tennis and Swim Center, for our Karate, Kickboxing/MMA, and soccer classes.
These classes are offered in 6 & 8 week sessions through out the year. Check out our Schedule page for latest session dates or the Calabasas Recreation brochure.
For any gear, uniforms, test fees, those would be paid directly to Zacharatos Karate Kickboxing/MMA & Soccer. We accept MC/Visa/Discover/Amex Check, Cash, prices subject to change
CITY CLASS FEES
* 8 week sessions for all classes, once a week $115, twice a week $185
*6 week sessions for all classes, once a week $95, twice a week $155

FEES FOR PRIVATE LESSONS:
Private lessons are available all year round at your convenience, You would enroll directly with us, Zacharatos, for private lessons, which are available at nearby locations, including your home, contact us if you’re interested.

You can pay per hour, or buy a package of 5, 10, or 20 lessons to receive a discount.
Please give 24 hours advance notice to cancel to not be charged for lesson
PRIVATE LESSONS PER ONE LESSON AT A TIME
ONE HOUR private lesson for one person———————$125.00
ONE HOUR private lesson SHARED by 2 people————$150.00
ONE HALF HOUR lesson for one person—————-$75.00
(1/2 hour is generally too short of time to share a lesson)
“PACKAGE PRICES” FOR PRIVATE LESSONS FOR ONE PERSON
Package deals for private lessons must be paid for up front in advance in order to receive the discounted price:
20 ONE HOUR private lessons for one person——$2300 (save $200)
10 ONE HOUR private lessons for one person ———$1100.00 (save $150.00)
10 ONE HALF HOUR lessons for one person——— $700.00 (save $50.00)
5 ONE HOUR lessons for one person ——————$600.00 (save $25.00)
“PRIVATE CLASS GROUP RATES” for 4-8 persons for 8 sessions
$360 per person for 8 sessions (works out to just $45 per hour per person for a private class)
($360 per person must be paid in full in advance, and no refunds if one or more members of the group misses a lesson)

KARATE TEST FEES FOR BELTS
Fees vary and increase as you go up in rank, starting at $35 for the first belt.
*Must wear full uniform with patch on it to test, and pay test fee
SPARRING GEAR FOR KARATE CLASS
total Girls: $148 ($188 with face shield on headgear)
total Boys: with groin cup $157 ($197 with face shield on headgear)
* Karate sparring gear includes:
Boots ($35), Shin guards ($30), Gloves ($35)
Mouth piece ($2) and Mouth piece case ($4)
Extra padded headgear $42 (or with optional detachable face shield $82)
Groin cup for boys only ($9)
*(Must wear protective gear to spar)
Groin Cup Sizing
Child cups come in two sizes:
Small (waist is 20-26), Large (waist is 27-32), (there is no medium)
The cup is the same size for both sizes, just the waistband is different sizes.
Then when you go to adult, the cup is larger than the child sizes, and just the waist size varies
Adult cups come in 3 sizes:
Adult Small (waist is 28-32), Adult Med (waist is 32-36), Adult Large (waist is 37-42)
The cup part is the same for all 3 sizes, just the waist band is different sizes.
Martial Arts Weapons
Optional for advanced students, need instructor approval for weapons class
total for all 3 weapons——————$95.00 (prices subject to change)
Weapons include:
1) one pair of nunchucks padded foam with chain ($27)
(start with padded foam with chain, then can advance to aluminum or wood at additional cost)
2) lighter bo staff, Canadian ash wood ($38)
3) one pair of wood escrima sticks ($30)
