“AMERICAN TANG SOO DO” STYLE
This style of martial arts is a very balanced style, consisting of equal hands and feet, equal offense and defense. You learn blocks, kicks, punches, katas (the art part of martial arts), fighting techniques, sparring (for inter/advanced students), and basic MMA for advanced students.
Builds confidence & self esteem, Improves focus and concentration. The confidence achieved by the process of earning belts, has positive benefits that carry over to other aspects of ones life.
Martial Arts also teaches you to believe in yourself, and to work hard to achieve goals. Children are taught the importance of good sportsmanship, and that the Martial Arts is to be used as a means for self-defense only. Sports plays an important role in Youth Development.
